Assessment 2

in the second week we looked at TV drama conventions binary oppositions and iconography , this is to do with specific costumes .we looked at two well known British TV dramas such as casualty and life on mars.we as a class discussed difference and similarity's and written a 700 word essay on it.we looked at such specific things as lighting,costumes,icons and characters 

for my week 2 work i analyzed a classic called nightmare of elm street . the beginning starts off in a shed with the killers (freddy Kruger)

creating his iconic fingers out of metal , he sharpens them on more metal ,these blades are one per finger, this is shot in a darki place were only the hand is seen

of the killers face is left mysterious.the music is incidental buidling the tension up to the murder.freddy Kruger tricks his victim by scratching wood and metal to build up parania

the opening scene is set in a old warehouse with lots of machines and dead ends the perfect scene for a murder.
